Yesterday morning we had the most terrifying experience our little family has ever had to go through, we thought we had lost Brandon in a sever car accident. As a wife it was the most terrifying and gut wrenching things I’ve ever experienced not knowing if I’d get to see my husband again alive. As a mother I was trying to prepare myself for having to tell my kids their dad may not be coming home. But by the grace of our mighty God he made it out alive and no one knows how!
I remember getting the call he was in the accident and I immediately started praying begging God to protect my husband and to let him come home safe to us.
Brandon had a Bible sitting in the front of our van when he hit the dump truck it crushed the front of our van under the truck and he was slung forward. The only thing that saved his head from hitting the back of the dump truck was his Bible. It somehow wedged itself between his head and the truck Bed.
God is the reason Brandon is alive!
And we are so beyond grateful he’s with us!
He came out of this with his right tibia broken, a broken nose, stitches, hurt shoulder and sprained left ankle. He will have surgery today and physical therapy will be needed to walk.
I ask that everyone would please keep Brandon in your prayers as he has a long recovery ahead and please just keep our little family in your prayers as we try to navigate through this.
He is currently in the hospital and will be there while awaiting surgery and a few days after due to injuries that he sustained. Anyone that knows our children, know that they have a hard time asking for help; so I am doing so on their behalf. Brandon is the sole bread winner for their family of 5 and at this time we do not know how long he will be out of work. We are assuming it will be for substantial amount of time due to the injury and rehabilitation. These kids are going to need lots of help. Their only vehicle is totaled and we all know that bills and necessities don’t care that you are unable to work. We appreciate any and all donations and if you are unable to donate, we ask that you would please keep them in prayer!
