Expenses to stay with Colton

Donation protected
As an EMT and mother I have often wondered how the parents of patients have felt after we have left the scene with their child with us. And how they have felt when they had to be flown out. And how they have felt on the drive to the hospital. I got the terrible call today and was actually on scene with him. I helped get him strapped on the backboard and watched the ambulance drive away with my (bonus) boy. Then I watched the helicopter take off with him inside and no chance for me to be there with him. Colton was helping an old family friend on his farm and was bringing the pickup back to the ranch when he rolled the pickup. It was a 45 minute drive for Levi to get to the hospital and a 2.5 hour drive for me. It was the longest drive of my life. When I got to the hospital we got an update on his injuries. As of right now he has a right distal clavicle fracture, right ilium fracture, bilateral sacral fracture, left acetbular fracture, compression fractures from T4-T10, bilateral pulmonary contusion, right gluteal hematoma, subdural hematoma, frontal lobe hematoma, and a small subarachnoid hematoma. He is now being flown to Fargo, ND for pediatric neurological care. I Levi and I will be driving up there. Levi and I currently don't have anything with us. Please, if you can help with any expenses we might have so that at least one of us can stay with him we would really appreciate anything. Even just a share if you aren't able to help. Much love to you all. Keep your loved close and give them a special hug!
