Azalee

Donation protected
I’m asking everyone to read Azalees journey. PRAYERS are needed more than anything thing else, but if you feel led to donate even a few dollars it would be greatly appreciated. Her parents and grandparents (Chuck and Carol Haggard) are currently at the hospital. None of them had prepared for what has happened. Rooms and eats have gotten expensive. I just don’t want them having to worry about expenses since they’re all out of work, without pay, to be with her.
Carol will be posting updates from here on out.

Azalee Eaves born April 24,2019. When she was 6 months old the doctors told us she was blind. After many tests, they confirmed she was blind, but couldn’t find the cause. That didn’t keep her from enjoying life. She LOVES to sing and is the most precious little girl you’ll meet.

She was about to turn 3 when her arm was accidentally caught in the door. Although she stopped crying and started playing patty cake like nothing was wrong, Nick still took her to E.R. That's when we were told she had a very rare bone disease called Osteopotrosis. A thickening of the bones causing them to be brittle. She was also very anemic. We were told this disease is the cause of her being blind, and without a bone marrow transplant she was going to die.

They found a match! She went to multiple doctor appointments getting blood transfusions every 4 weeks, and had to start chemo treatments before the transplant could take place.

9/23
The bone marrow transplant took place.

She is currently in the ICU. They’re saying her little body just hasn’t been able to handle the side effects of the chemo. They told us If she doesn’t start improving soon, she isn’t going to make it.

10/6 UPDATE
This morning we were told there was a little improvement. The swelling in her mouth and tongue started going down. They’re still concerned with the liver.

10/8 UPDATE
I want to update everyone on Azalee today her fluid levels are coming down meaning the swelling is going down. The main concern is her liver levels are high. Please everyone keep Praying for my Azalee. Thank you all so much. -Carol
