Expenses Surrounding the Loss of Laura Nix

Hi, my name is April. I’m Laura Nix’s oldest daughter and am asking for assistance during this difficult time. My mother was only 46 and passed away so unexpectedly. She had no health or life insurance, and there are many funeral and medical costs that we could have never anticipated needing to pay at this point in our life.

My mother suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm on Sunday, March 12th in Dalton, GA. She was transferred to Erlanger in Chattanooga, but there was nothing they could do. She passed on March 13th at 12:21 PM.

We are all devastated and shocked by her leaving us so soon. Anyone that knew Laura knew her for her kindness, giving nature, wittiness, and wonderful sense of humor. She was the type of woman to drop everything she was doing to be there for you if you needed her. It is impossible to imagine going on without her. She was an incredible mother, daughter, sister, girlfriend, and friend.

Laura leaves behind her two daughters, April (Jesse) Campanella, and Julie (Ezekiel) Hart, her grandchildren, Ava and Olivia Hart, parents, Richard and Mary Thorne, siblings, Paul and Lisa Thorne, and several nieces and nephews.

We are asking at this time to help cover memorial and medical costs. Any additional money will go towards the bereavement process.

Mommy, I hope that you have felt the love and appreciation people have for you in both life and death. Your life essence will carry on in each of us.
