Hi, I'm Kat Bauer, one of the co-owners of Front Street Steakhouse in Ogallala, NE. Many of you know our amazing General Manager, Jeremy Tyler as well as his partner Shawn Robinson (together they own Whoa Doggies Hot Dogs). Recently, Shawn was diagnosed with Non Hodgkins Lymphoma. In late December, Shawn went into the hospital with sepsis; while there he was given several blood transfusions. He complained of stomach pain during this time, and they found tumors. As it usually is in rural areas, Shawn would not be able to get a biopsy until January 11th. Unfortunately, after he was released from the hospital and before his biopsy, his health deteriorated. On January 3rd, when Jeremy took Shawn in for a regularly scheduled doctor's appointment, Shawn was admitted to Great Plains Regional Health in North Platte, NE. Shawn has been in the hospital since.
On Monday, January 17th, the Doctors told them that Shawn's Lymphoma was in Stage 4. On Tuesday, January 18th, he was transported to Denver for treatments.
All of this has made it impossible for them to run their Whoa Doggie hot dog business and required Jeremy to take time off from work. Jeremy has and will continue to incur expenses with traveling to and from their home (North of Paxton) to the hospital.
Any amount of donation will help Jeremy and Shawn as Shawn fights for his life and makes it possible for Jeremy to travel to Denver to be with Shawn. Funds will be used to help cover travel expenses, any lodging, any food and help cover their monthly expenses.
