Expenses Related to Cody Putt Accident
Donation protected
On October 16, 2020, An amazing father of two and husband, Cody Putt of Pontotoc, was involved in a gas/fire explosion. The gas can blew up in his hand, covered his sweatshirt and then spread to his body. They rushed him to Baptist ER in New Albany and were immediately sent an order to get him sent to the Memphis Burn Center. Due to them being one of the #1 trauma centers, they will not allow any visitors due to the virus. That means in the midst of the excruciating burns, he is without his family. The right side of his body from hands, arms, chest, neck, face, eyes, and ear are covered in 2nd and 3rd degree burns. His right hand has gone completely numb and will require extensive surgery and tons of therapy to get it back functioning. He has no skin left on his hand, arm, and the right side of his face and will further need procedures to help in the recovery process. We are asking for Donations to help with the Putt family. He will possibly be off work for up to a year. He has 2 children and a wife and is the primary source of income for his family. With no option but to take a huge loss in monthly funds, a mountain of doctors bills, physical therapy costs, and living expenses will be a nightmare for them. This road of recovery isn’t going to be easy. It’s going to be long and hard, but we have strong faith that Cody will pull through and be stronger and better than he was. They are appreciative of any little prayer or donation. Also, if you would like to donate to PayPal, that option is there! Her PayPal is [email redacted]! Any little thing is a blessing! I will update frequently as we continue to get updates. Thank you all so much and God Bless!
