Expenses related for son’s surgery out of state

The light of my life, my son William Sparnicht, needs surgery out of state for his scoliosis and we have decided to go through Shriner’s hospital network which will help us with medical expenses. However, travel lodging and other incidentals will not be covered by the Shriner’s. Not to mention that I am a contractor and if I don’t work I don’t get paid. This is going to require multiple trips and many days off work. I’m starting the goal where it is but may adjust as it is appropriate based on the coming days and what I learn is going to be needed. Any help is greatly appreciated. I truly want to be able to focus on doing what is right for my son and hopefully not worry about losing my apartment or anything else financially. My kid deserves the best and it breaks my heart that I can’t just drop everything and focus on him 100%.
