This is not an easy message to share. Isidora, a bright and strong 13-year-old, was recently diagnosed with scleroderma and severe arthritis after a long journey of searching for answers. Unlike typical arthritis that affects older adults or specific joints, Isidora’s condition impacts her entire body—even her jaw—causing intense pain and loss of mobility.

Because of this, she can no longer walk and has had to leave school, continuing her education online to avoid dangerous falls. This disease is extremely painful and life-changing.

Her mother, Natalia, is doing everything possible to care for her, including traveling 1.5 hours to Orlando for appointments with rheumatologists, neurologists, and ophthalmologists, as her vision is now being affected. These frequent trips and time off work have created a heavy financial burden.
