My friends Christy and Kris Jaeger are living every the worst nightmare of every parent I know.

Christy's son Chase (who is 22) took too much of his medication that resulted in him having a series of seizures that caused cardiac arrest. They were able to perform CPR and bring him back. However,  he suffered global brain damage which has resulted in his brain swelling and beginning to herniate due to swelling. Since he is expected to deteriorate over the coming hours,  Christy and her family made the hard decision to begin the process of donating his organs. It will take 24-48 hours to locate recipients and schedule the procedures. They are going through the darkest days any parent could ever endure.

This fundraiser is raise funds to cover the many unexpected expenses associated with this tragic event.
