Hello. My name is Jonathan and I’m organizing this go fund me for my father Eduardo and my sister Nayely.

On January 2nd my sister will be donating her kidney to my dad who is very sick with diabetes and now has stage 4 kidney failure. He has been suffering these past 2 years , and getting dialysis 3-4 times a week.

Waiting list for transplants are years out so my sister applied to donate her kidney to my dad and was a match. There has been a lot of trials and tribulations but they finally have the surgery date.

My dad is unable to work because of his condition, and my sister is a single mom of two kids who already struggles to make ends meet in this economy.

I am asking for donations to help with costs for all and everything associated with surgery, recovery, travel and child care for my sisters kids while she is going to be unable to work for 6+ weeks. The surgery will take place at UC Davis near Sacramento CA which means traveling out there once a week after the surgery to make sure everything is going good in the recovery.

This means a lot to our family and we appreciate your considerations.

El 2 de enero mi hermana donará su riñón a mi papá, quien está muy enfermo de diabetes y ahora tiene insuficiencia renal en etapa 4. Ha estado sufriendo estos últimos 2 años y ha recibido diálisis 3 o 4 veces por semana.

La lista de espera para trasplantes lleva años, así que mi hermana solicitó donar su riñón a mi papá y era compatible. Ha habido muchas pruebas y tribulaciones pero finalmente tienen la fecha de la cirugía.

Mi papá no puede trabajar debido a su condición y mi hermana es madre soltera de dos niños y ya lucha para llegar a fin de mes en esta economía.

Estoy pidiendo donaciones para ayudar con los costos de todo lo relacionado con la cirugía, la recuperación, los viajes y el cuidado de los niños de mi hermana mientras ella no podrá trabajar durante más de 6 semanas. La cirugía se llevará a cabo en UC Davis, cerca de Sacramento CA, lo que significa viajar allí una vez a la semana después de la cirugía para asegurarse de que todo vaya bien en la recuperación.
