Dear Friends and Family of Jamie Mills, You may know the amazing Jamie’s Mills from one of her many walks of life whether you met her at school, choir class, worship team, church or any other path that have crossed. You may call Jamie a sister in Christ, friend, teacher, classmate, auntie, or vocal leader. Undoubtedly the name she cherished most was given to her by her loving Father, Stephen and Brenda Mills and was the name of Daughter. It’s with a grieving heart we share the news of Jamie’s Father unexpected passing. Stephen Mills rest peacefully in the presence of his loving Heavenly Father God. Stephen was a dedicated individual with a remarkable journey, proudly served his country in the Army, showcasing his commitment to duty and service. Following his military service, he followed Christs path for him and served as an elder at Cross Point Baptist Church. Beyond his professional life, Stephen was an enthusiastic outdoorsman and reflected his passion by spending quality time hiking with Jamie and enjoying Gods country. Despite being a private man, he radiated warmth and loyalty to his close-knit circle of family and friends, endearing himself to all who had the privilege of knowing him. Stephen’s legacy is one of dedication, camaraderie, and a love for life that will be cherished by those whose lives he touched. As Jamie’s friend and sister in Christ, I have started a funeral fundraiser to help cover the unexpected cost of funeral expenses. Her family was not prepared for the high cost of a funeral, and during this difficult time, we are reaching out to the community for help.
