Our friend and everyone’s favorite doctor, Shawn Johnson, was involved in a serious scooter accident in Palm Springs, CA during the Scooter Cannonball on June 18.

If you know Shawn, you know he would be the first one to step up to help anyone!

He is currently in critical condition in the ICU in Palm Springs. He has multiple rib fractures, a collapsed lung, his liver is damaged, spleen was removed, has an open surgical abdomen with a wound vac and is intubated.

His wife Kristi flew out there to be with him and it may be a long road a head.

The expenses alone will be astronomical as his insurance is not in network. The helicopter ride alone will be at least $20,000.00. Also the cost of all the other expenses that come with this including his wife staying out there with him for food and shelter. Kristi left Iowa as soon as possible to be with him so she only has the clothes on her back.

Please consider donating what you can and everything will be directly sent to Kristi to take care of her well-being while she is there and expenses for Shawn. This will take off a burden of both of them so they can focus on Shawn and his recovery.
