Expenses for Shaela and Tyden
Donation protected
Shaela was diagnosed with a chronic liver disease called Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis in 2015 after an emergency surgery to remove her gallbladder. She was given 5-10 years to live before needing a life-saving liver transplant.
She is currently a single mother working tirelessly towards her nursing degree. As she approaches her last two months of nursing school, she is also experiencing the end stages of her liver disease. Throughout school, she has worked very hard to provide for herself and her 4-year-old son. After countless hospital stays and constant pain, Shaela is awaiting a liver transplant. She has found herself unable to work and must use the little she has to give,to finish school in hopes of creating a better life for herself and her child.
Her son Tyden is the sweetest, smartest and goofiest little guy anyone could meet. He loves Luigi Mansion, ghostbuster, dinosaur, powderpuff girl and any scary monster. He is very active, loves sports and music as well. He has been so brave throughout this and Shaela’s heart ultimately beats for him. Which is why she tries everything in her power to keep him distracted with things that make him Happy, young and at ease.
Because of her illness, her journey to getting her bachelors in nursing has been prolonged. She has unfortunately run out of financial aid and has been left with no other option but to pay thousands out of pocket. She has been working nonstop to make this possible, which is not helping her condition. Shaela will be using any donations to help get her and her son through the last few months of school without having to sacrifice her health. She will also be using any donations to help pay the remainder of her tuition so she will be able to graduate. Shaela is very determined and hopeful; let's help her reach her dream and hopefully ease her way.
