Hello, my name is Scott Susong. I was working at Parkwest Medical Center with medical benefits, then I took a better job with Choice Spine as a 6 month contract to hire. Long story short; four months in, I started having really strong heart palpitations accompanied by very high blood pressure. Two visits to the ER at Morristown Hamblen only resulted in a prescription for blood pressure medicine as standard tests showed no other problems. A week after my second ER visit, I had the same symptoms while at work. I drove myself to Parkwest Medical, and was admitted for dangerously high blood pressure, which did not respond to medication so they did further tests and found that I had 4 arterial blockages in my heart, and an enlarged aorta, and was in need of open heart surgery. My surgery was on April 15th, 2019. I am happy to report that I am recovering well, thanks to the prayers of many of you.
Needless to say that the surgery, hospital stay, and the time off of work while in the hospital, and as I recover has left me and my family with numerous expenses, so your donation of any amount to this cause will be greatly appreciated.  Blessings!!!!
