Expenses for Jeanette and Bill

I’m blown away daily by the generosity of Jeanette and Bill’s family and friends. All of you know Jeanette has been very sick and in the hospital continuously since July 12, 2021 except for one week when she got to come home. That week was cut short when her lung collapsed a second time when her lung collapsed a second time and she was rushed back to the hospital via ambulance. When Covid first hit Bill and Jeanette they thought in a couple weeks they’d bounce back and all would be well. Instead Jeanette continued to worsen and she ended up in the hospital. She’s fought like a mighty warrior for weeks and weeks now and managed to avoid going on a ventilator but they say she needs a lung transplant.
What you might not know is Jeanette had no insurance and at this point her hospital bill is around a million dollars not to mention the financial loss of her income all these weeks. Bill has been able to continue working but when he’s not working he’s usually at the hospital (about an hours drive each way), which has meant a lot of eating out which gets costly fast.
