Jasonah Crawford was a bubbly, funny, sweet, hardworking, intelligent, and loving 18 year old young woman. She comes from a large family who loves her tremendously. Jasonah was a freshman at Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, TN and worked at Electrolux in Springfield, TN. She was studying to become a pediatric nurse.
On the evening of Tuesday, December 22, 2020, Jasonah’s vehicle took a sharp turn and crashed in to the Cumberland river in Clarksville, TN. Unfortunately due to weather and water conditions, recovery efforts were delayed. We received confirmation on Sunday December 27th, that Jasonah was recovered with her vehicle.

We are asking for anyone who has information about the accident to contact the Clarksville police Department or her family as soon as possible. Jasonah was terrified of water. We are left puzzled and devastated by her loss.
My sister, Latishia, will need the support of prayers and anything you may be able to give financially to aid in assistance with travel back and forth to Clarksville, TN as well as for Jasonah’s arrangements. In addition, the family would like to state that a portion of the proceeds raised will go to Austin Peay towards another nursing major in the honor of Jasonah.
We are eternally grateful to all of the first responders, Law Enforcement, and Agencies involved in her location and recovery efforts. We wish to send blessings and gratitude to the community of Clarksville, TN, Austin Peay State University, LaVergne, TN, and Murfreesboro, TN.
Thank you,
Devita Jackson on behalf of Jasonah Crawford’s mother, Latishia Dowdy with the assistance of her Aunts (Takia Sanders, Tanica Conteh) and her Grandmother (Norma Conaway).
