Expenses related to help Margo BEAT CANCER!

On May 5, I received the word that my baby, my healthy child, has cancer. Margo has a stage three Wilms tumor. During surgery on May 9 to remove the tumor, the surgeons determined that her tumor was so massive, it had fused to her liver, abdominal wall, and diaphragm, and they were unable to safely remove it.

She had to wait out an excruciating period of healing before she was able to start chemotherapy. Margo will receive 12 weeks of chemotherapy to shrink her tumor to pull it away from her organs, and have a second surgery to remove it. After her second surgery, and another healing period, she will receive 12 more weeks of chemotherapy and radiation.

Medical expenses, and all other expenses that I have incurred as a result of my living with Margo at Nemours Hospital for weeks, are mounting.

I have an extremely difficult time asking for help, but as a single mother, with one other medically complicated child, I could use every bit of help I can get!

Our community of family and friends, and Margo’s wonderful preschool, has been absolutely amazing! We THANK YOU so much for being our angels during this extremely difficult time. We are so GRATEFUL for everyone’s generosity! There are no words!
