Expenses for Hannah's funeral and memorial

Donation protected

Hi everyone! My name is Tiffany (one of Hannah's work moms) and I am a manager at Logans Roadhouse where Hannah was working up until last week. Hannah Pugsley was an amazing person. She had a heart of gold and a smile that could light up a room. She is definitely someone I will never forget. We at Logans have become one big family. And to lose someone so suddenly and so young in your family is so hard. So we want to help as much as possible with Hannah's funeral and memorial services as we can. If you can donate please do to help her family. All proceeds will go to her grandma to help with the expenses. Rest in Paradise beautiful!

OBITUARY

Hannah Marie Pugsley

JUNE 1, 2003 – JUNE 6, 2021

Hannah Marie Pugsley was born on June 1, 2003 and entered God’s loving arms on June 6, 2021.

She was the beloved daughter of Elisheba Crisher and Jake Pugsley and the dear sister of Kaylee Jean Crisher and Aiden Allen Pugsley.

Hannah is survived by her grandparents, Marge and Chet Crisher, her Nana; Christy Pugsley and her great grandmother; Sally Gibbs.

She is also survived by her aunts and uncles; David (Samantha) Crisher, Chrystal (Josh) Canine, Henry (Abby) Crisher, Charity Hendren, PJ Pugsley, Dustin Wise and many cousins.

Hannah was loved by a multitude of friends and family in her life.

Hannah was a recent graduate of West Michigan Academy of Environmental Science and was planning to start cosmetology school this month, desiring to follow in her mom’s footsteps. She was exceptionally driven, hardworking and bright. Throughout high school, she worked two different part time jobs at Logan’s Roadhouse as a hostess and Heron’s Woods as a server for the elderly. Even while working two jobs and attending school, Hannah maintained National Honor Roll status. She was also a student at KCTC (Kent Career Tech Center), a program of Kent ISD, and was recently voted in as the Captain of her Criminal Justice Program.

Hannah was considered a mentor to many of her friends. She enjoyed spending her free time with them whenever she could. Hannah loved children, her dog Lenny and was a kind, gentle, happy, positive young woman. She knew the Lord as her Savior and was strong in her faith. Hannah touched countless lives and will be deeply missed by family, friends, teachers and coworkers.

Mrs. Leanne DeYoung, a special teacher and mentor to Hannah, wrote:

“Got one of those phone calls on my way to school Monday morning that no one anticipates…

Hannah was suddenly no longer here with all of us…

When I made it to school that morning a character reference letter I had just wrote on Friday was still on the screen. I had written about how she was the class cheerleader. There wasn’t a single person she didn’t encourage and love on. She’d shout so loud and clap obnoxiously whenever anyone finished a speech in class…

She’s send me random text messages about birds she had seen or to keep me updated on tough things going on in her life…

When all of the seniors had to give some pretty scary speeches for our Capstone Projects in the spring, she circled everyone up to hold hands and pray. Not something you see very often a Public High School. She was unafraid to be herself, especially when it really mattered.

She was so silly. And boisterous. And sensitive. And incredibly caring. And her presence filled a room. Her friends loved her so very, very much and every teacher I work with wanted to keep her in their classes’ forever- she was SUCH a LIGHT.

That quote is the last thing she shared on Facebook before she was forced to leave this Earth. It’s so true of HER. I always told her what a gift and miracle she was and she’d say, “Awee Mrs. DeYoung, you're gonna make me cry.”

Going to miss her a whole lot. I’ll see you again, Hannah.”

Hannah’s family will receive visitors for Visitation on Friday, June 11th from 4-8 PM at Reyers North Valley Chapel.
