Hello, My name is Eric Hemphill. I am the father of Eric Cooper. Eric is my second born son and was murdered and suddenly taken away from his son Zyon , his mom and siblings due to gun violence in Washington, D.C.

On 10-28-21.. I received a call that no parent want to receive, Eric was shot in Northeast D.C. , where he then was transported by Medic10 to a local area hospital. After all life saving measures failed, he was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Eric left behind his one & only son Zyon, his siblings, his mother and myself. Our family heart is heavy and numb as we try to cope with the loss of my son. 

I’m reaching out to the public, family and friends for financial assistance for Zyon.
