My name is Sarah, I’m Matt’s daughter. I’m setting up this GoFundMe to help take the burden off of my parents during this traumatic time. We’ve had so many people reach out to me and my mom, Denise, about offering gift cards, monetary expenses, and food while we are having to stay in Memphis. This GoFundMe would be a better way for us to receive anything that has been offered as we will be staying in Memphis for a while and unable to travel back fourth to Dyer. The visiting hours for the critical trauma unit are 8am-8pm and we are not allowed to stay with Matt due to the hospitals policy with critical trauma patients. While we are so thankful for the prayers and support during this time, we have been very overwhelmed and it has been hard for us to respond back to everyone - just know we truly appreciate everyone that has reached out and sent us your thoughts and prayers during this time. Matt was in a motorcycle accident Sunday morning on 10/23/2022. He was immediately flight lifted to the Med in Memphis and sent to the critical trauma unit with a fractured femur, hip, pelvis, sacrum and lower back. He will be at the med for several weeks then a rehab facility later. Thank you for everyone who has reached out to donate and for all the prayers. We are truly thankful for all of you!
