Updated: I first created this GoFundMe almost a year ago in the wake of my mother’s emergency hospitalization following a series of strokes. I have reposted it now as my father is the one currently hospitalized for fluid within his lungs resulting in the need for consistent oxygen to be administered. He will likely not be released for at least two to three more days, and will face many days in recovery following his stay. Our financial situation as a result will suffer greatly due to his absence from work.

I myself am currently employed in four different jobs, and am seeking full-time employment to alleviate the strain we have already been under within the past year. Unfortunately, my efforts have done little to bring stability, but I have hope that things will improve. My mother, as many of you are aware, cannot work at this time. She has made wonderful strides in her recovery from her strokes, but she still has a long way to go. Her health is currently taking a serious hit as she has begun driving once more, and has unfortunately had to deal with our car’s lack of A/C and frequent maintenance issues. The estimate for the repairs is over $750, a sum that is far out of our reach. This along with our ever-piling list of monthly costs are the main concern as we face the uncertainty ahead. Prayers are appreciated and we firmly believe God is with us at this time, but sometimes it is best to be proactive as well.
