Tiffany's Tasty Treats Expansion Capital

In 2019, a hobby took off unexpectedly and Tiffany's Tasty Treats was born.
I have worked diligently to perfect my craft. In a matter of months what was once simply a creative outlet for me became a passion to create baked from scratch, high quality goodies.
During the pandemic, I used the down time to strengthen skills, perfecting new on-trend techniques and began offering new items. I utilized customer feedback to create new recipes. Temporarily pausing operations in light of a statewide "Safer-at-Home" order, March thru May, operations resumed on May 26, 2020. Twelve months later, we are now beginning to see pre-pandemic sales return.
The business also completed its first professional branding campaign. We intentionally worked with another woman-owned small business to develop signature colors, logos, website development as well as marketing materials. This has been a necessary investment to introduce our high-end brand to market. As we scale up, the need to expand has been identified, in terms of moving the business and its operations from our home into a dedicated commercial kitchen space.
Moving into a commercial kitchen will allow the business the space needed to grow and meet customer demand more efficiently. While offering a small reception/pickup area and retail sales space. We will also have the ability to ship our products nation-wide, a barrier to larger sales opportunities under current Wisconsin Cottage Laws. While I have invested in equipment to support this business thus far, more is needed as we expand.
All funds raised will be applied accordingly:
-Purchase additional commercial equipment; stainless steel work tables, storage racks, ingredient storage, refrigerator and freezer
-Exterior and Interior signage
-Interior display cases
-Bakery supplies
-Updated Marketing
-Infrastructure
-Additional miscellaneous start-up costs
I am a proud African American, woman- owned small business, excited to grow my brand in the community and surrounding areas. I am seeking this crowdfunding opportunity to ensure my business is setup for success. Many small businesses begin with a lack of resources and capital to support them. I am taking steps to proactively mitigate this issue. In an effort to pay it forward, I intend to source products and services from other small businesses in the area.

From weddings to holidays, cheesecakes, cupcakes, custom cakes and everything in between, Tiffany's Tasty Treats has you covered. Tiffany's Tasty Treats has something for everyone and every occasion. We even offer gluten and nut-free bakes.
