The TK and Kindergarten outdoor space at Bachrodt Elementary currently only has seating for approximately 8-10 students. We are fundraising to purchase an additional outdoor picnic table, which teachers have been requesting for years.

The additional seating will enable students to enjoy snack time outdoors without having to sit on the ground, and could enable teachers to conduct additional activities outdoors as well.

The estimated cost for an durable low height 8' table is approximately $1,000. An example is here. Any excess funds will be given to teachers to spend at their discretion for school-related expenses. Thank you for your support of our students and teachers!

Bachrodt is a Title I elementary school in San Jose Unified School District, serving predominantly low-income students. It offers both Spanish Two-Way Bilingual Immersion and English classes.
