New Jerusalem Haitian Baptist Church Inc (NJHBC) or L’église Baptiste Haïtienne de La Nouvelle Jerusalem (EBHNJ) is a small community church located at 2869 N Osprey Ave, Sarasota, FL 34234, and founded by Senior Pastor Jean Innocent Tannelus in 2000.

In the 25 years of ministry, our community has witnessed and experienced directly the transformative impact of the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.

We’ve witnessed the restoration of marriages, broken families, and indicted criminals; we’ve witnessed deliverances from depression, anxiety, demonic oppressions, fear, suicidal ideation, and all forms of addiction.

The Lord has graciously blessed us in allowing us to be used by Him in His great commission of healing and restoring all people unto Himself through believing in the sacrifice of His Son Jesus Christ, and submitting to Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

In recent years, our ministry has grown exponentially, making it challenging for us to accommodate the needs of our community.

In 2020, our congregation relocated to our current location, 2869 N Osprey Ave, Sarasota, FL 34234, which, fortunately, has outgrown the building space.

Our church congregation has exceeded the capacity the church grounds can hold, with an additional dilemma of only about 10 unofficial parking spaces for a congregation of 125 active members. As we continue to do the work of the Lord, we are seeking to obtain a larger building space that can house our current and future members to come.
