Book Trails is a student-led initiative that has installed 15 free neighborhood book boxes across six Bay Area cities. Now, we’re raising funds to build, install, stock, and maintain even more.

Your donation directly supports:

$500 — Complete preparation, transportation, mounting, and installation

$250 — Preparation of one box, including artwork, books, and weather protection

$100 — Box assembly and construction

$50 — Paint, art supplies, or new books

Each Book Trails box is hand-painted, weather-protected, filled with books, and cared for by our team. Inspired by art from around the world, every box is designed to invite children, teens, adults, and families to discover, read, and share books close to home.
