Hello, lovers of justice and goodwill.
Like many people, we sat during this pandemic thirsting for live music, while also wondering what we could do to amplify marginalized voices. We'd lost almost all our community spaces, and dreamt of an entertaining and relevant way we could bring together the dazzling splendor of live-shows with a people-first mission.
Thus Exotic Fruits Festival was born. A hybrid live-show and digital streaming festival, this will be a limited-audience event where ALL proceeds will go to three incredible organizations: The Boyle Heights Arts Conservatory, Project Q and The Feminist Center for Creative Work.

We need your help to make this happen! This is going to be a full-scale, VMA-level production, with a stage crew, set-designers, vendors, speakers and artists. We're of-course taking an all-of-the-above approach to fundraising, but small, individual gifts are the most-important. They're not only a symbolic gesture of community approval, but also ensure the festival remains independent and fully-focused on our mission.
The money raised via this page will be split evenly between our non-profit partners, and production costs - covid safety measures and staff, craft services, specialty crew, etc. 100 percent of all ADDITIONAL money raised from ticket sales and money donated during the stream and at the live event will go to our non-profits.
