The federal government has repeatedly demonstrated overreach and heavy-handed tactics in San Juan County. They have now singled out five individuals out of over 100 that participated in a peaceful protest earlier this year, and are charging them with crimes. It appears that they intend to make "examples" out of them in an attempt to subdue the rightful 1st amendment and other rights that we are all fighting for.

This fund is set up to help provide the individuals with the legal fees associated with defending themselves against the heavy hand of the federal government.

None of them requested this help, but the rest of us that participated in the protest, and everyone else who values individual and state rights, should stand with them and help them overcome this challenge.
