Hi, my name is Kimberly and I have written this short film as a concept for a feature film which I would love to make happen in 2026. Because of the resources we will need to make this happen, I am hoping that this short film can be of a strong enough quality to entice producers for the full project. The story explores grieving someone that you had an estranged relationship with, which I feel is such a complicated emotion which doesn't have a lot of representation on screen. I would hope that the film creates a safe space for those that feel similarly. The money raised would be used to send the short film into festivals, rent locations and creating an effective set as well as feeding the cast regularly on their breaks and crew and paying for their travel, as everyone involved are passionate about the idea and aren't working for payment. We would just love to have some flexibility to make the shoot run as smoothly as possible.
