Exhausted all other means

Hi my name is Andrea. About 6 years ago I had bladder cancer, I am cancer free now. The complications from chemo and radiation are still being felt today. Radiation affected my bowels....I have consent diarrhea to this day. My bladder is now tilted, which causes accidents. The radiation has ate the cartilage between both hips and leg bones.

A year ago I had strep throat, I am an educational assistant in the school system so I believe strep came from there, the strep entered my blood system and settled on my left hip, which is the worst of the two hips. I had emergency surgery to have the poison removed from my hip, which could of killed me.

The surgeon told me afterwards that I had arthritis in my hips, but there needed to be an underlining cause, which leads me to believe this all stems back to radiation, I have no underlining condition. I have been in consent pain since last April. I came home with an IV bag for several months, I was not allowed to be on my own for several months. I did several weeks of rehab only to find the deterioration was much worse than originally thought. I need both hips replaced.

I have been home laying in bed now for almost a year now, still waiting for a date for first hip replacement, I am way to young for this. I have exhausted all of my sick time, EI and no one out there will help monetarily to get me through the end of this ordeal.

I am not one to ask for help, but I really don't want to loose my house or anything else for that matter. I need a few or more months to get through these next two serguries before I can return to work. Remember I still do not have dates. Anything you can give will help. Thank you all in advance!
