Help Save Bo

Hello, my name is Jessica Panarello. As some of you may know I have a fur baby named, Bo, and on Wednesday night 4/15/2020 Bo was meowing and crying in pain. He was on his back and his body from his hind legs down was completely swollen. It seemed like he kept trying to urinate and kept pushing, but nothing could come out. The next day when I took him to the vet they told me he has a UTI and he received an antibiotic and steroid shot. The next day Bo was back to crying in pain so I had to rush him to the emergency pet hospital which is where they told me that it if he doesn't receive surgical care he wouldn't make it and in a matter of three days he could be gone. Bo was put under anesthesia so the doctors could put a catheter in his private area so he could urinate properly. The surgery is not 100% guaranteed and this might be a lifelong problem for Bo. If this surgery does not work he will need a PU (perineal urethrostomy) surgery which will be double the cost of his most recent procedure. Bo means so much to me. He is nothing like my other cats. Ever since I laid eyes on him in the shelter I knew he was going to be something special. I know this is a rough time for everyone. Any amount donated is so greatly appreciated; I really just want my two year old cat to make it through because he's the greatest cat and doesn't deserve any of the pain that was brought upon him. I thank you so much for taking the time to read Bo's story!
