Exercising peace
The terrifying escalation of violence in Gaza and Israel is leaving people in urgent need of humanitarian support. Hundreds of thousands of people have been forced from their homes with nowhere safe to go. Food, water, electricity, and fuel have been cut off.
1,000's of lives have been lost due to this conflict. Here at Nottingham Girls Academy we want to show our support by helping provide aid to those impacted. But most importantly, we want to stand together for peace!
Our staff and pupils will be "exercising peace" over the next few days. Staff and students will be giving up their own time and cycling, rowing and running 1,000 miles (accumulatively) to represent the 1,000's of lives that have been lost.
