Exercise to Combat Addiction Scholarship Fund
Guilford Athletic Center runs the region's only recovery exercise and recovery meeting program using the benefits of exercise and facilitated recovery meetings to help conquer substance abuse, physical abuse, anxiety, depression, loss, COVID fatigue or any of life’s challenges.
This program is free to teens and adults. It is facilitated by an experienced - nationally ranked CrossFit coach and athlete (Clint Zeidenberg) and Doctor of Psychology (Dr Hannah Jurewicz) (COVID safety precautions followed)
Amid compounding health, economic and social crises – as well as referrals from neighboring sober homes and clinicians – participation in the Recovery Exercise and Recover Meeting program is growing.
