We need your help to launch an extraordinary journey for a group of incredibly hardworking young people from across Cumbria and Lancashire ATC. Our Air Cadet squadron has been presented with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity: a life-changing educational expedition to NASA space centre. Our cadets spend their spare time learning leadership, aviation science, and community discipline. This trip is the ultimate extension of their training. They will participate in hands-on STEM challenges, tour real space launch facilities, and look directly into the future of aerospace engineering and space exploration. Many of our cadets dream of becoming the next generation of pilots, engineers, and scientists. Experiencing NASA firsthand turns abstract classroom lessons into tangible career paths. However, an expedition of this scale comes with significant travel, lodging, and program costs.We firmly believe that financial constraints should never stand in the way of a young person's potential and so aim, with your support, to help reduce the physical cost to each of our 56 travellers.
