Urgent Help Needed for Family's Relocation

My kids and I moved into our current home 8 months ago, and my oldest and I signed a 2-year lease. My plan was to spend this time paying off my debt and fixing my credit so that I could buy us a forever home. Unfortunately, my landlord had different plans.

I found out last week that my landlord is selling our home, and I have to be out by January. That is 1 year and 1 month prior to the end of the lease. According to the lease, she only has to give me 30 days' notice and owes me no recompense (PSA: READ THE FINE PRINT before you sign a contract).

I was able to speak to an attorney, and she has made a deal with my landlord that, if I’m out by November 15th, I won’t have to pay the remaining months and I will only have to pay a prorated amount for November.

Unfortunately, I do not have the money to put toward a deposit, first month’s rent, the prorated rate, and all the costs of moving. I’m still paying back the money I borrowed for the deposit when I moved in here.

I have been debating on whether or not to even start this GoFundMe. There are so many people hurting right now and so many people in need. I am blessed with so many things.

I just don’t know what else to do. I’m already working 2 jobs just to make ends meet. I feel like I am at the end of myself, and I’m exhausted. If you find it in your heart to help my family, it would mean the world to me. If you can’t help in a monetary way, I totally understand.
