Blessed to have him with us at KIPP: Adelante for four years as a member of the Class of 2028, Christian was deeply loved by his teachers and teammates. Skating, spending time with his friends, and art were a few of his favorite things to do. A fiercely loyal friend, son, and brother, he loved everyone in his life hard. Christian's family and friends meant the world to him, and that love was reciprocated by all those who knew him. On December 11th, 2020, at the age of 14, Christian was taken from our world much too soon.
As our KIPP family mourns the loss of our student and friend, Christian's parents are suffering the unimaginable loss of their beautiful little boy. Money raised through this campaign will be directly withdrawn from Ms. Rice's bank account to be donated directly to Christian's immediate family to help with funeral expenses. On behalf of all those who knew and loved Christian, we are immensely grateful for all donations to assist his family at this time.
