Update on Seana’s Journey and Continued Support Needed
We’re so grateful for the love, prayers, and support you’ve all given Seana and her family. Your generosity has truly made a difference in helping them stay focused on what matters most, time together and Seana’s care.
In the next couple of weeks, Seana will begin radiation treatment at CHOP/Penn, which will require daily trips into the city. We’re also continuing equine therapy, which has been a source of peace and healing for her, along with other supportive self-care needs like therapeutic massage.
Sharon is not working right now so she can be fully present for Seana , to walk with her through this season and help her do the things that bring her joy and comfort.
Looking ahead, we’re hoping Seana qualify for a clinical trial in Seattle, which could offer some new hope , but also comes with the possibility of significant travel and lodging expenses.
We’ll keep updating you as we go, but please know how deeply thankful Sharon, Kenny and Seana are. Your continued support whether through donations, prayers, or simply sharing Seana’s story, means more than we can say.
With hope and gratitude and so much love!
Seana, Sharon and Kenny
Even exceptional people need help too! It is clear that Seana and her family are very loved by the outpouring of support and encouragement that they have received so far!
But let's continue helping in a very practical way. Seana's mom is not working right now and we all know how medical bills, travel, gas, food, parking, etc....can add up.
Here is the brief story of Seana if you don't already know. xo
Our dearest Seana has been diagnosed with an extremely rare brain tumor. Her diagnosis came on Friday, 9/1, after she went to the Wills Eye Hospital ED with double vision in her left eye. An MRI showed the very last thing anyone would expect or imagine.
After gathering much information from some incredible doctors, along with the help of her parents, closest friends and family, Seana has decided on the medical team at CHOP. She feels confident that she has chosen the medical team that will offer her the very best care that exists and the path she is on is the best one for the best result. She had a biopsy on 9/13 and is currently awaiting the results of that so they can move forward with the most effective plan of treatment.
Seana is beyond strong and moving forward with courage and faith… exactly as only could do. In addition to exceptional, she has said many times in the past few days….her hope is to the exception.
Let's help this incredible family on this journey to make it as easy as it possibly can be. Finances is the very last thing they need to be concerned about now.
Much love and appreciation to you all. xo
