So the fellow on the far right in the photo is Jason Besse. He is well known to us in the Surrey Drop-in Hockey community as the crazy Montreal Canadiens Goalie.

He was getting by on disability until COVID hit. His life circumstances like for so many of us had changed. He took a chance at love and gave up his low income housing to get married. Unfortunately, the marriage didn’t work out and now Jason can’t get back into the affordable housing he had before so he is living in his car.

Winter is with us and needs to stay warm by running his car. Fuel is expensive, but he is doing what he can to get by.

I am setting up this funding request to give Jason a little hope that the community around him cares about him and that brighter days will come again
