Hi everyone,

We’re two broke college students doing everything we can to take care of our 2-year-old cat, Exa. A few days ago, she suddenly got really sick and was rushed to the ER at midnight. She was diagnosed with intussusception, a dangerous intestinal blockage, and she needed emergency surgery to survive.

Exa is currently recovering in the hospital after a successful resection of her intestine. We’re beyond relieved that the surgery went well and that we caught it in time, but now we’re stuck with a huge vet bill we weren’t prepared for. We’ve put everything we have toward it and maxed out our Care Credit cards, but it’s not enough, and we’re really struggling to come up with the rest.

She means the world to us and is our emotional support, and just the sweetest girl. If you’re able to help at all, whether it’s a donation or just sharing this with others, it would mean so much to us.
