Lindsay had stomach surgery on October 30th. While in recovery, she formed blood clots in her intestine and it ruptured causing sepsis. A second major surgery to correct this was preformed and Lindsay was put into a medically induced coma to help her recovery. As a result of the respirator and breathing tube, Lindsay also contracted pneumonia. Lindsay is currently in the ICU at Magee Women’s Hospital. Lindsay’s parents and myself have spent time in the hospital or nearby hotel since her first surgery. Lindsay’s other family members plan visits as well. I truly hate to ask for help, but this is a huge financial strain on our immediate family as well as her extended family. If you have a couple extra dollars and feel like helping us out, I’d greatly appreciate it. Anything would help with the travel, meals and lodging. Not to mention the finical hit of losing Lindsay’s income potentially long term. Thank you for your prayers and all the texts and calls checking on her and myself.
