Soutien à Pierre et Ghislaine

Dear, Probably many of you are not aware that our friend, brother, father Pierre Butera had an accident, during his holidays in South Africa last year (July 2017). We hoped he will recover quickly but instead the accident left him tetraplegic. Since then, he is fighting with courage to keep his intellectual abilities and regain his mobility. Thanks to everyone who has been around to support the family.
This fundraising was created to share the financial burden that comes with several consultations and physiotherapeutic treatment fees which are not covered by his current insurance. It is about sharing the load, alleviating stress where we can, making space for reflection and healing, and giving to Ghislaine, few hours to disconnect. A modest goal has been set, but the costs associated with all these sides things will make the difference. This is all about true friendship. Chers amis, probablement beaucoup d'entre vous ne sont pas au courant que notre ami, frère, papa, beau-frère Pierre Butera a eu un accident pendant ses vacances en Afrique du Sud (Juillet 2017). Nous aurions aimé qu’il s’en sorte très rapidement mais au contraire cet accident l’a laissé tétraplégique. Depuis plus d’un an, il se bat avec courage pour garder ses capacités intellectuelles et retrouver sa mobilité. Un grand merci à tous ceux qui, de près ou de loin, ont entouré sa famille.
Cette collecte de fonds a été créée afin de partager le fardeau financier lié à plusieurs consultations et aux frais de traitement de physiothérapie qui ne sont pas couverts par son assurance actuelle. Il s’agit de partager la charge, de réduire le stress autant que possible, de laisser un espace à la réflexion et de donner à Ghislaine quelques heures pour déconnecter. C’est un objectif modeste qui a été fixé, mais qui fera la différence à notre échelle en contribuant aux coûts associés à tous ces aspects. Juste un geste d’amitié pour lui. Beste, waarschijnlijk zijn velen van jullie er niet van op de hoogte dat onze vriend, broer, vader Pierre Butera een ongeluk heeft gehad, tijdens zijn vakantie in Zuid-Afrika vorig jaar (juli 2017). We hoopten dat hij snel zou herstellen maar in plaats daarvan is de situatie niet verbeterd. Sindsdien vecht hij met moed om zijn intellectuele vaardigheden te behouden en zijn mobiliteit terug te krijgen. We bedanken iedereen die in de buurt is geweest om de familie te steunen.
Deze inzamelactie werd gecreëerd om de financiële lasten te delen die met verschillende raadplegingen en fysiotherapeutische sessies zijn verbonden, die niet onder zijn huidige verzekering vallen. Het gaat om het delen van de druk, het verlichten van stress waar we kunnen, ruimte maken voor reflectie en genezing, en aan Ghislaine tijd geven om te kunnen ontspannen. Er is een doel vastgesteld, maar de kosten die aan al deze aspecten verbonden zijn, zullen het verschil maken. Dit gaat allemaal over een vriendschappelijk gebaar naar hem toe.
