Healing and Medical Support

Hello beautiful humans,

I write this to you on the eve of my 38th birthday. As I prepare for the new year ahead, I have been reflecting on the past few years and all that has lead me to this moment. I have been traversing chronic Lyme disease and it's been one rollercoaster of a ride! I'm still grateful, I'm still hopeful and yet I recognize the building stress that impedes healing when it comes with the mounting bills, and financial strain for continued treatment and support.

I have been working part-time while homeschooling full time, while navigating on going symptoms that can at times be absolutely debilitating. I'm working hard to reject the shame that comes with not being able to 'do it all,' and step into choosing what I know I need at this time. Which is the support of my community and family.

When speaking with another Lyme patient she said, "Chronic Lyme disease is the rich man's disease." Unfortunate but true, due to the CDC only recently recognizing it's validity. We have great insurance but I have not been able to utilize it in any capacity other than some blood work. I am currently working with a functional medicine doctor at the Born Clinic. Each appointment ranges from $150-300. Ozone UV therapy is $250 a session. Supplements and healing support is a never ending financial stress that has left me picking a choosing what I can do and can't do each month.

I know times are hard for many of us which only makes it more difficult to ask for help, but here I am. ASKING. TRUSTING. BELIEVING. I had friends volunteer to create a gofundme for me but I knew that it was important for ME to do this for MYSELF. So with their encouragement I'm showing up despite the uncomfortability. The mantra "I AM WORTHY OF SUPPORT." Any amount will be met with the utmost gratitude and appreciation for contributing to further healing.

The most difficult part of this has been how it has limited my capacity for life. I am a deeply passionate person with many aspirations and dreams that have been put on hold. I have come such a long way from 2020, where I could barely walk from terrorizing dizziness, all over body itchiness, an over reactive limbic system, rashes and bruises covering my entire body and much more. I celebrate every triumph that I have made but there is still a long way to go!

I will be continuing to sell my belongings (thank you to those that have already purchased some of my things!) So keep an eye out for future sales!

Thank you so much for walking this journey with me. You are appreciated. I look forward to serving you.
