Mary's Medical Fund

Mary is a single mom who's fought fiercely to rebuild her life after facing the devestating loss of her marriage. She's suffered from debilitating pain for many years and only recently has been able to find some answers. She's been diagnosed with Sjogren's disease, Rheumatoid Arthritis, interstitial cystitis and fibromalgia. Each one of these conditions causes significant pain and can interfere with daily life so much that many people with these issues need to file for disability. It's a testimony to Mary's strength and drive that she's been able to continue a full-time job while managing the complexities of these illnesses. 

And who among us doesn't know that 'when it rains, it pours?' Amidst all of this, Mary's required 5 (!) surgeries over the course of the past 2 years to treat severe adhesions caused by a botched surgery following the birth of her daughter. 

Mary's been able to stay afloat financially until very recently. She's had a perfect storm of busted plumbing that required a major renovation to keep her house livable, new tires that she'd avoided getting for as long as possible, a precancerous spot on her face that will require more medical care and then after receiving $200 in financial aid from one of the *hospitals she received care from they are demanding the huge balance be paid within 30 days!* She doesn't have enough money in her account to pay her prescription co-pay let alone this giant hospital bill. 

Reluctantly, Mary let me create this page for her because prayer has brought her to the realization that she cannot do it on her own- that Christ is calling her to make herself vulnerable and humbly accept the generosity of others. Please prayerfully consider donating any amount to help Mary out from under this mountain of medical debt so she can focus on her health and her daughter.
