Intercessory Missionary Partnership

On July 2nd, 2014 I began a three-month internship in Kansas City, MO. The internship is called Fire in the Night and is based from the International House of Prayer, where I am a full time intercessory missionary. Fire in the Night requires interns to live their daily lives from 11pm until 3pm. Interns pray, worship, and minister to the Lord literally in the middle of the night for a minimum of six hours in the prayer room. During the day we served on college campuses, evangelizing and taking courses educating us on evangelism, knowing the character of Christ, and knowing who we are in Christ.
During my time in prayer room I have prayed for several focus topics that include: The Church in my City, peace in the Middle East, salvation for friends and family, interceding for immediate needs and current events, for example, a lot of time was spent praying for peace in Ferguson, MO, praying for a culture of life; the ending of abortion, ending of human trafficking, restoration for those who have been abused, and a spirit of adoption.
The personal impact of praying and worshiping according to the desire of God's heart has forever marked me. Spending hours abiding with the Lord has given me a holy hunger.
Matthew 5: 6 “Blessed are those who hungerand thirst for righteousness for they will be filled.”
I believe that the Lord is leading me to extend my time at the International House of Prayer by attending the second track of the internship, to fill me to fully satisfy this holy hunger.
Being here I am learning what it is to serve others while still filling myself up. I am receiving leadership development training that is giving me vision for ministry at home in Alaska and around the globe. 
As you may have known, I have been involved with children’s and young women’s ministry in Alaska. I believe my time here is contributing to the ministry calling on my life to teach young ones. The Lord has impressed upon my heart that he is re-establishing and giving me a strategic direction for ministering and loving the people in these areas of influence – it all starts with prayer; connecting with God's heart and praying for His will to be done.
October 1st is the start date of the second part of the Fire in the Night internship. I am asking for you to partner with me in ministry. I need to raise finances for tuition and living expenses to continue pursuing God in the place of intercessory prayer.
