The Anthony Redman scholarship fund

Anthony was born on April 17, 1976 in Stillwater, OK to Rick and Teresa Redman. He was the oldest of there 3 children. Anthony loved growing up in Mulhall, OK because he enjoyed anything outdoors. His hobbies included: fishing, hunting, riding horses, and roping cattle (and his siblings occasionally).  He also helped his family farm their land in the summer time.  Anthony was also an athlete who played basketball and baseball through school and recreational. Even though he never was blessed with his own children he enjoyed coaching kids and helping them learn the game.  Anthony also enjoyed singing and would sernade many of his friends and family. Anthony attended Mulhall-Orlando schools from Kindergarten-12th grade graduating in May 1995. Anthony attended OSU where he roped for the rodeo team his Freshman year. He continued at OSU and Langston University all the while working full time at Kicker in Stillwater, OK. Anthony graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Management and Information Systems and an Associate in Accounting from OSU in 2002. Anthony was hired at FTS in Ponca City after he graduated and began work as a computer programmer with the company. While there he helped create a program for the business which years later his brother would help educate the staff on the use. In June of 2003 Anthony was diagnosed with cancer and began treatment however the cancer spread and in April 2004 Anthony passed away. Higher education was always a goal of his and even though it took him several years to achieve this goal, he did! We started The Anthony Redman Scholarship in memory of Anthony requiring Seniors to apply for the scholarship writing an essay as to why higher education is important to them. We have been blessed to be able to give this scholarship since 2005 awarding a deserving senior at Mulhall-Orlando High School with a one time scholarship to help with their college expenses.
