Hello all, my name is Amber, on saturday  May 8th a devastating event occurred in my family, you may have heard on the news if you are local in northwest arkansas of my mothers house that exploded due to a gas leak. She has been air lifted to Springfield Missouri to the burn unit and currently is still sedated. We are still waiting to see if she will need surgery for skin grafting, on her hands and feet where she has 3rd degree burns.  The doctors said she has 40% of her body burned due to the explosion. She lost her home, most of her belongings were damaged or trapped under the debris of the aftermath, her car was damaged when the front of the house was blown outwards into the yard.  And last week she lost her job due to personal reasons, and currently does not have health insurance at this time. She has gone through a lot in the past few years, in 2018 she had been diagnosed with breast cancer. After a year of chemo therapy, a double mastectomy and losing her hair she overcame it by the grace of God. it is going to be a hard road to recovery, but getting help in this time will make it easier on her and myself as i collaborate with the doctors and other resources  that have reached out so far.  Today, May 10th, we found her cat, IronHide who had also been in the home at the time of the accident. IronHide also has a gofund me for his injures (Vet Care For IronHide). Now my mother is left with no job, many lost belongings, no health insurance and very little in her account.  anything counts and any donation will be put directly into Mary’s account. Godbless.
