For 10+ years Ben has been living with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (C.O.P.D). COPD is the 3rd leading cause of death in the nation. COPD is a chronic Inflammatory lung Disease that causes obstructed air flow from the lungs. Symptoms include breathing difficlity, cough, sputum production and wheezing. People with COPD are at increase risk of developing heart disease, lung cancer and variety of other conditions.
Living with COPD can be very challenging especially as it becomes harder and harder to catch your breath.
We are looking to raise $12,000.00 for Stem Cell Therapy, which is NOT covered by Insurance and is completely out of pocket.
This is Ben's only way to combat the progression of this disease.
