Teri Milton Weir Memorial Scholarship

Please help us honor our dear friend Teri Milton Weir for the fourth annual Teri Milton Weir Memorial Scholarship! This organization has been created to honor our friend Teri whom we lost to cancer. All funds raised will go to annual memorial scholarships we have set up in her name!

 

Teri was an amazing, courageous, resilient and compassionate person. Her bright and mischievous smile and infectious laugh lightened up a room! She always looked on the positive side of life and put friends and family first. She was there to listen, give hugs, guidance and words of encouragement. As an example, at the age of 50, in the admist of her cancer battle, Teri continued her education to become a Medical Assistant. She lived life to the fullest and her determination to persevere is an inspiration to us all.

 

These scholarships will allow students to further their education at a college or trade/technical school. One scholarship will be awarded to a Senior at Needham High School, Teri’s alma mater. The second scholarship will be awarded to a Senior at King Philip Regional High School where Teri's eldest son attended.  Our third scholarship will be awarded to a Senior Tri-County Regional Vocational High School where Teri's youngest son is currently attending.

 

We intend to continue these scholarships annually to students who embody Teri’s character and values in achieving their higher education goals. We are officially recognized as a nonprofit organization, meaning your donations are tax deductible!!!
