Hola a todos, amigos y familia. Mi nombre es Daniel, vivo en las Islas Canarias, y, siguiendo los consejos de un muy buen amigo, he decido crear éste GoFoundme para trata de paliar la situación tan mala en la que se encuentra mi familia.
Aurora, mi madre, es el vivo ejemplo de madre coraje. Madre soltera, la mayor de tres hermanos, es la que siempre se ha encargado de sacar la familia adelante, luchando contra viento y marea. Pero hasta las más fuertes como ella necesitan ayuda.
El paso de los años han sido muy duros con ella, tanto a nivel económico como de salud.
La crisis del 2008 nos golpeó con fuerza, con una hipoteca de interés variable absurdamente elevada, con traslados forzosos de empleo sólo para acabar despedida por cierre de oficina, sin darle la oportunidad de un traslado a otro puesto de trabajo.
Lejos de ser esos los únicos problemas, mi abuela empeoró rápidamente, lo que significó en aumentar más los gastos, ya que era una mujer muy mayor y dependiente para todo. Hace poco que falleció, no pudiendo cumplir sus últimas voluntades por culpa del COVID.
Ahora mi madre tiene que hacer frente a todos esos gastos acumulados durante tantos años y es imposible. Los números no cuadran, las deudas crecen, y se nos hace imposible llegar a fin de mes. Los pocos ahorros que teníamos se han agotado. Las cosas de valor se han vendido para paliar gastos.
Pero hemos encontrado una salida, una posibilidad de salir de éste pozo sin fondo: La Ley de Segunda Oportunidad. Recientemente actualizada, nos permitiría, además de no perder la casa, agrupar todas las deudas de tal forma que puedan pagarse sin que ello nos asfixie.
Tras consultarlo con abogados, mi madre puede acogerse a La Ley de Segunda Oportunidad, pero hay un GRAN PERO que nos lo impide. Para no perder la casa, uno de los principales requisitos consiste en estar libre de deudas con la hipoteca y con la comunidad de vecinos. Mientras que con la hipoteca estamos al día, no es así con la comunidad.
Hay una deuda sin pagar de las mensualidades. A su vez, al edificio no se le han hecho prácticamente mantenimiento y pretenden hacerlos ahora de golpe. Esto supone un gasto abusivo para mi madre, que tiene que pagar una derrama exagerada en Diciembre y no hay de dónde sacar tanto dinero.
Como el pez que se muerde la cola, la solución a los problemas económicos la tenemos delante, pero necesitamos dinero para poder acceder a ella. Si no se pagan las mensualidades de la comunidad, y la derrama, mi madre no podrá iniciar los trámites de la Ley de Segunda Oportunidad.
¿Consecuencias de no pagar? Pues que éstas serán las últimas Navidades que pasaremos en casa. Tendrá que optar por renunciar a su casa y lo poco que tiene, para que se lo queden los bancos, dejándola a ella sin nada y en la calle.
La cantidad que busco reunir son 3600€.
- De ese dinero, 600€ se destinarán para pagar las deudas de la mensualidad de la comunidad.
- Y el resto, 3000€, se usarán para pagar la derrama para las obras en el edificio.
- En el caso de lograr reunir por encima de esa cantidad, se irá íntegramente en pagar a los abogados.
Si ésta no fuese una situación de urgencia, jamás me plantearía iniciar esto. No me gusta pedir dinero, los que me conocen lo saben bien, pero aquí yo no importo, mi madre sí, y por ella haré lo que sea.
Toda aportación, por pequeña que sea, suma y será más que bien recibida.

HELP SO THAT MY MOTHER DOES NOT LOSE HER HOUSE
Hello everyone, friends and family. My name is Daniel, I live in the Canary Islands and, following the advice of a very good friend, I have decided to create this GoFoundme to try to alleviate the very bad situation my family is in.
Aurora, my mother, is a living example of mother courage. A single mother, the eldest of three brothers, she is the one who has always been in charge of taking the family forward, fighting against all odds. But even strong ones like her need help.
The passing of the years have been very hard on her, both economically and health-wise.
The 2008 crisis hit us hard, with an absurdly high variable interest mortgage, with forced job transfers only to end up being fired due to office closure, without giving her the opportunity to transfer to another job.
Far from these being the only problems, my grandmother quickly worsened, which meant increasing expenses even more, since she was a very old woman and dependent on everything. She recently passed away, unable to carry out her last wishes due to COVID.
Now my mother has to deal with all those expenses accumulated over so many years and it is impossible. The numbers don't add up, the debts are growing, and it is impossible for us to make ends meet. The little savings we had have been used up. Things of value have been sold to offset expenses.
But we have found a way out, a chance to get out of this bottomless pit: The Second Chance Law. Recently updated, it would allow us, in addition to not losing the house, to group all debts in such a way that they can be paid without it suffocating us.
After consulting with lawyers, my mother can take advantage of the Second Chance Law, but there is a BIG BUT that prevents us from doing so. In order not to lose the house, one of the main requirements is to be free of debt with the mortgage and with the neighborhood association. While with the mortgage we are up to date, this is not the case with the community.
There is an unpaid monthly payment debt. At the same time, practically no maintenance has been carried out on the building and they intend to do it now all at once. This represents an abusive expense for my mother, who has to pay an exaggerated amount in December and there is no where to get so much money from.
Like the fish that bites its tail, the solution to economic problems is right in front of us, but we need money to access it. If the community monthly payments are not paid, nor the renovation works, my mother will not be able to begin the procedures for the Second Chance Law.
Consequences of not paying? these will be the last Christmas we will spend at home. She will have to choose to give up her house and the little she has of it, so that the banks can take it, leaving her with nothing and on the street.
The amount I am seeking to raise is €3600.
- Of that money, €600 will be allocated to pay the community's monthly payment debts.
- And the rest, €3000, will be used to pay the money for the works on the building.
- If we manage to raise more than that amount, it will go entirely towards paying the lawyers.
If this wasn't an emergency situation, I would never consider starting this. I don't like asking for money, those who know me know this well, but here I don't matter, my mother does, and I will do anything for her.
