Kicking Kyle’s Cancer

Cancer is messy and scary. You throw everything at it, but don't forget to throw love at it. It turns out that might be the best weapon of all.

Life is an absolute whirlwind, and can change at the drop of a dime, but you never except it to be life altering in a matter of hours or days. This is what Courtney and Kyle have been experiencing since the middle of last week.

What started as a hopeful simple trip to urgent care, abruptly took a turn, and has uprooted their lives. Kyle was diagnosed with B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia over the weekend. Kyle has been receiving the best care at Leigh Valley, but doctors recommend he begin treatment, this week at Sloan Kettering Memorial Cancer Hospital in Manhattan.

Courtney has taken time off of work, to help care for Kyle and stay in Manhattan, while he receives treatment. As a family, we decided to create a fund, so Courtney can give the absolute best care to Kyle and lessen the burden of taking time off work, and focus on Kyle’s recovery and journey. Donations will be used to cover daily expenses and help cover costs.

They are the two most caring and selfless people. They have been giving their lives and careers to bettering the lives of others through teaching and healthcare. Any help would be greatly appreciated and they would be forever grateful.

Courtney had requested that although she knows everyone loves and cares about them, she does not wish to receive calls/text messages at this time. As you can imagine this is very stressful and overwhelming. Please leave you kind words of encouragement and love here or with a family member! ❤️
