On Monday, June 1st, Ewing Bettles, a devoted husband, friend, and colleague, tragically and unexpectedly passed away. He leaves behind his loving and adoring wife Deborah and many dear family and friends who will miss him greatly.
Ewing was the nucleus of his family and also the sole provider. His gracious heart served only to help others. Ewing was a person who gave so freely of himself. If a friend or family member needed a place to call home, he opened his door. If someone needed help financially, he’d find a way to assist. If someone needed an ear, he was always the quiet listener and the sound voice of reason. He was someone that could always be counted on during difficult times and now it is our turn to give back.
This memorial fund is for his heartbroken family to provide a funeral service to honor the loving, kind, and gentle man that Ewing was. His wife is now left with the financial burden of funeral expenses as well as trying to determine how to financially sustain herself. Average funeral expenses are estimated at $10,000 and we want to help Deborah reach that goal so she can honor and pay tribute to this wonderful man. While the goal is ambitious, every donation size helps.
